SUSTAINABILITY
MADE WITH CARE FOR PEOPLE AND THE PLANET
Every garment has an impact, from the fibre it starts with to the resources used in production, packaging and transport. We cannot remove that impact, but we can make better choices at every stage: the materials we use, where and how we produce, how long a garment lasts and how it reaches you.
For brands creating their own merchandise, these choices become part of your story. Our approach gives you something real to tell your customers about what your pieces are made of and how they are made.
COTTON, CHOSEN WITH CARE
Cotton is one of the most widely used natural fibres in clothing, and how it is produced matters. Conventional farming can rely on synthetic pesticides and fertilisers that affect soil, water and surrounding ecosystems. Organic cotton is grown under standards that prohibit them, with greater emphasis on soil health and ecosystems.
We work with different types of cotton to suit each project: organic cotton as our core material, recycled cotton, and blends of the two. The fibre is the starting point of every garment, shaping its feel, comfort and performance.
A SECOND LIFE FOR FABRIC
A significant share of the fabric used in clothing production is lost before a garment is finished. Offcuts from cutting are good-quality material, and we treat them as a resource, not as waste.
Where the project allows, offcuts are collected, sorted by colour and quality, mechanically recycled into yarn and returned as new fabric. Selected fabrics can contain up to 100% recycled cotton. Brands can also develop their own circular fabric from their own production waste. Recycled content varies by fabric, so we always confirm the exact composition with you.
MADE IN PORTUGAL
Our garments are made in Portugal, where fabric is knitted, dyed, finished and sewn within a close production network. Short distances between stages mean fewer transport legs and tighter control over quality.
Production takes place under European labour and environmental regulation, with partners we have chosen and visited ourselves. In the dyehouse, we use eco-friendly dyes and water-efficient techniques, and for selected processes bio-based and energy-saving options are available.
We value long-term relationships, open communication and a shared commitment to quality. They are what make a responsible approach to production possible in practice.
MADE TO ORDER
Producing garments before there is demand for them leads to unsold stock and unnecessary use of materials and resources.
Our collection gives brands a foundation for their own merchandise. Garments are produced to order, according to the requirements of each project, not made speculatively to build up stock. This reduces the risk of overproduction and unsold inventory, and gives every project a clear purpose from the start.
QUALITY & LONGEVITY
The longer a garment stays in use, the more value comes from the materials and resources that went into it.
We pay close attention to fit, fabric, construction and finishing. Finishes such as pre-shrinking and anti-pilling help garments keep their shape and surface wash after wash, and every garment is checked before dispatch. Well-made clothing, designed for repeated wear, is part of a more considered approach to consumption.
PACKAGING
Packaging protects garments through storage, handling and delivery, but it also adds to material use and waste.
Our garments are packed in paper-based bags as standard, as an alternative to conventional plastic garment bags. Our packaging is made with renewable fibres and designed to be recycled through paper collection systems.
CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT
No single change makes clothing production impact-free. Progress comes from understanding each stage of the process and improving where it counts. We keep reviewing our materials, production methods, partnerships and packaging, making informed choices and questioning unnecessary waste along the way.
